Well done everyone who took part in our last show, ‘Showcase 2’ you were all incredible and it was a great performance by all!
Thanks to all the Volunteer Leaders and helpers who helped out at the show. The Phoenix Performers is a big team and we all pull together with our different roles and skills to create each performance, without teamwork and dedication by the Leaders there would be no shows or Phoenix.
We were lucky so far this year with two funding bids North Hoyle Wind Farm Rhyl Flats granted us £2,000 and the Rhyl Bonfire Fund granted us £300, this money will be used to purchase new microphones for all future productions.
DATES FOR YOUR DIARY:
4th & 11th December Wednesdays Youth/Eagles 13+ year’s sessions will be at Rhyl Dance Studio and not at Llywelyn due to voting taking place in hall.
18th December Youth/Eagles Xmas Party Ysgol Llywelyn Rhyl 7 – 9pm for 13 years+ you can wear anything you want for this party, which will be fun and games!
Secret Santa only for this party for 13+ year’s £5, list of names will be drawn next Wednesday. This is not compulsory therefore if you do not wish to take part please notify a Leader.
This will be the last Youth session return 8th January 2020.
21st December Children’s Xmas Party Christchurch Sports Hall Rhyl 10 – 12am for 7 – 12 year olds and 10 – 11am for 4 – 6 year olds. Older youth members welcome to come along and help out. You can wear anything you want for this party, which will be fun and games!
This will be the last Children’s session return 11th January 2020.
We hope you all have a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year and look forward to the New Year with plenty of workshops and displays and a huge Panto in November 2020 to look forward to!
